Hello,I have got a test pressing 2 LP's (5/6 copies to exist) from new unique reissue on Black widow recs. Italy with white cover and write of pen the name of group. Paolo Stefano ITALY
Paolo, I purchased one of the 2LP reissues from Black Widow last week, before they listed the test pressings. Can't wait until it arrives. Mark - NJ, USA
I do have metaphysical animation in mint condition. Found in a box bought at a rummage sale. Plainwhite covers. I tried to post comment to your blog from 2013.
Nice score! Didn't see your comment - would have published for sure. Great album - worth holding onto I think.
Popsike shows one sold for $161 USD in 2012. So $6000 is probably a fake sale. https://www.popsike.com/METAPHYSICAL-ANIMATION-private-demo-LP-hear/350534703112.html
It isn't. The $161 was the guy from my blog who bought it (see below link). Note the dates of the blog post and the purchase. The ebay entry had no keywords, but did have a sample, that's why he took a chance. Before that purchase the record was a complete unknown. And it's 100% authentic. It was a 2LP demo (not too many of those!). I encourage you to read the blog post.
For those asking for more data on this album. Here's some information from my old blog. It was discovered by a contributor to our site. We tried to get it reissued, but unfortunately negotiations always broke down. http://cdreissuewishlist.blogspot.com/2013/10/metaphysical-animation-usa.html
Why is this worth so much? I would like to know more....
These kind of prices are meaningless without some kind of explanationabout the item. You know a little background information about this.Like what's the music like? where was it found? I mean there hasto be some very significant reason that someone would be familiarwith this, and want to pay $5000 for it. And I'd like to hear what it is.
The guy who paid $5k for it musta known something... Or just had the money to burn eh?
It is too bad there is nothing to bid on...
This says never sold but I sold mine on Discogs for $5000.00 US.
Oh, damn - it's on now. Twenty dollars and *two* kittens!
No more copies available from this seller at this time.
Nice. If you have a second copy, I'll give you $10 for it.
